I've walked by the area many times noticing it took over the former Agean Cafe that used to be at that spot but didn't pay attention of what kind of restaurant it was until this evening. The moment I noticed it's a Korean restaurant, I had to give a try. Already walking in and sitting down is a little treat. The decor of string lights and plants with a decent K-R&B playlist playing already reminds me of the coziness of my own home and WFH set-up. The ambiance gives off a romantic feeling so a nice place to bring a +1 to just chill.
The Odeng Tang was delicious but I had to have careful stop in the beginning, work on my other entree before coming back to finish it off. The chicken dish is amazing; didn't realize it's boneless so it's a simple fork poke and straight into the mouth.
If you need a quick lean protein fix, this place is it. Def will return to try other things in the menu.
Parking: I'd recommend Broughton Street parkade qnd try to scour for first hour free stalls if possible.
Dear 土萠ほたる,
The fish cake soup (Odengtang) is served piping hot, requiring careful consumption. The boneless chicken adds to the ease of enjoyment. I extend my sincere gratitude for the delicious meal, and I greatly appreciate the thoughtful provision of parking information. I eagerly anticipate the pleasure of your company again in the future.
